was waiting for Portsmouth vs Liverpool match after watching Chelsea r held 0-0 to Hull.

and then the starting 11 list was shown and i was baffled. lots of question marks.
3-4-2-1 system. Skrtel, Carragher and Agger behind ok. no prob with tht. then the next 2 row starts to come in.

1. Arbeloa as right midfield?
2. Fabio Aurelio as centre midfield?
3. Andrea Dossena as left midfield?
4. Yossi Benayoun as a supporting striker?

4 BIG questions. like what ppl always, u gt to play them in the correct position.
in the end, i just watch the match. and for 1st half, i am really wan to slp. except for 1st few 15 mins where Benayoun shoot wide and then Aurelio freekick clip onto outside the post, the rest is passing and passing, no shooting.

2nd half much better until 62nd minute. Crouch pass the ball to Nugent who is onside, Liverpool didnt play it well and Nugent slots it easily past Reina. 1-0 Portsmouth. gloomy day starts to come over liao.

but luckily Crouch helps us also. back pass into the penalty area and James use his hand to collect it. FOUL! Indirect free kick and from 10 yards, Alonso slightest touch allows Aurelio to hit it right into bottom right corner. 1-1. Looks ok for me if draw.

15 mins left and Torres come up. more attacking liao.
but then 2 mins later, Liverpool day dream again from a set-piece situation.

Belhadj cross went into directly to Hreidarsson head. free header! 2-1. when will Liverpool learn their lesson of defending properly from set pieces?

another comeback win is needed to stay within range of Man U and it really happens, ONE MORE TIME.

85th minute. Distin miss the clearance and Torres takes the ball immediatel, goes into penalty area and pass to Kuyt, who turns here and there and shoots it from an absolutely tight angle. 2-2. dramatic!

nt finish, 1 minute into injury time, Mascherano pass to Benayoun who latches a cross to an open Torres.... POWERFUL HEADER!! GOAL!!!!
is 3-2 to Liverpool. Torres save the day again. Liverpool moves back to top for at least a day with Man U playing West Ham ltr tonight.
