well well, sat and sun mania is back for me liao. the Barclays Premier League starts tmr. everything starts all over again liao. b4 i start on tmr matches prediction: i go for the 20 teams summary (longer than quek de).

Manchester United:
Reigning champions. Solid in defence and midfield, since they have mixture of old and young players. only 1 prob. attack juz nt enough players. though Berbatov mayb coming in, but still need days after all. opening months they have to cope without their talismantic player, Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored 33 goals last season. without him, all the scoring will b on Rooney and Tevez. but wif Giggs and Scholes around, Man U still can cope well.
Chances to win the league: 80/100, Place finished: 1st or 2nd

Chelsea:
the nearest to beat man u last season. but this season, brand new coach, brand new team, brand new signings. Luis Felipe Scolari is a wonderful manager who guide Brazil to 2002 World Cup of cos. Deco and Bosingwa r powerful players who will add more dimensions to Chelsea attack. Lampard juz sign a new contract wif Chelsea and is all cleared. wat can u ask more;
Chances of winning: 85/100, Place finished: 1st or 2nd

Arsenal:
if u wan me to summarize can they win, is very difficult. they may have lose key players like Flamini and Hleb and still have big players injuries like Edurado and Rosicky, but one thing for sure, u cannot ever count them out. juz rmb last season, they lead for almost half of the season b4 they ran out of steam. one thing for sure, look out for Samir Nasri, new signing of cos. he is skillful when i watched the Emirates Cup and im sure he can do well in this big league.

Liverpool:
18 yrs since they have win. last season bcoz of Benitez rotation policy cause them. this season, they get rid of Riise (relieve for me) and brought in Dossena, Keane and Ngog. it is really even stronger than last yr. but while im saying this, i can also warn u. they r always nt to b trusted.
when we expect them to win, they cant win. ( juz look at the Champions League qualifier when we expect them to win). i juz feel tht they still have to wait for another yr.

Tottenham:
the really only 1 club tht can challenge the big four. they may have sold keane but yet they bring in more attackers as in Modric and Bentley. Berbatov may b going, but Bent is scoring goals for fun. Expect them to seriously challenge the big four this yr after a slopping season last yr.

Chances of breaking big four: 80/100, Place finished: 4th or 5th

Aston Villa:
they may have be sixth in last yr. but nt much of gd signings this yr. Barry has nt been confirmed to stay here or go Liverpool. though they have bring in the shot stopper of Brad Freidel, i juz think it will pretty much b the same as last season.

Chances if breaking big four: 30/100, Place finished: 6th

Everton:
Liverpool arch rivals. suprisingly, didnt even have signings throughout the summer. and this will backfire as other teams improve. dun expect a lot also.

Chances of breaking big four: 10/100, Place finished: 8th or 9th

Portsmouth:
hmmm, mayb, juz mayb they can challenge the big four. lots of england signings like crouch and this will b threat when long cross are pumped. but he is physically weak. and has nt much of controlling also. but this can b the most stable team alongside Tottenham.

Chances of breaking big four: 50/100

Manchester City:
Big signing like Jo comes in, and they maintain the main squad inside, Mark Hughes is the new manager. u think tht gd? come on. Thaksin frozen asset gif Mark Hughes empty hope. nt a chance of winning and breaking, dun even consider european place.

Chances of breaking big four: 1/1000, Place finished: 10th or 11th

Blackburn:
1st black manager comes in, Paul Ince. but wif Friedel gone, and Robinson comes in, it all depends on Robinson whether can he make impression or make blunders. in other areas, nth has taken much place.

Chances of breaking big four: 5/1000, Place finished: 7th ot 8th
