as a Singaporean, wat i really wish is of cos can c our country can enter world cup for the historic 1st time. but on mon, 9/6/08, tht hope is really being dashed. wat a big loss. our country 1st big loss at the National Stadium. a 7-3 thrashing by uzbekistan. can they really recover in time after this big loss as they entertain them yet again at Uzbekistan tmr. i will nvr noe. but all the best to them. hope they can pull a miracle like wat Liverpool have done.
tmr also marked the start of euro 2008. who will b the winners this time? will Greece retain their trophy. from the countries tht r playing this yr, though they have a much improved squad, but chances r very slim after all. so out of the 16 teams tht r competing, which vote will i go?
ANSWER: SPAIN.
y Spain? they gt very talented players, from casillas, puyol, fabregas, alonso up till villa and torres. dun 4gt torres score 33 goals for Liverpool in his devut season and the coach has made a lot of attention for him. like when he gt slight injuries, the coach juz only let him do slight exercises, which is pretty over-cautious. and most of spain players r relishing themselves to prove tht they can do well and hope premier Clubs can buy them. so i do think this is the greatest time for Spain after 40 years since they won the last european championship.

Italy, world cup champs
France, runner-up for world cup, lose to Italy on penalties 2 yrs ago.
Holland, ranked 10th in the world stats
Romania: qualify ahead of Holland in the qualification stage.
this is a grp tht nobody dare to predict which country is going through. i dun even dare to think. but i juz had a feeling 1 inside this grp will go into the finals
and my prediction for finals:
France vs Spain.
