this season i label Liverpool as this:
1. 2nd half goal scoring team
2. comeback kings

y is it like this? bcoz so far, Liverpool only score goals in the 2nd half. Even though they had tht juz 1 goal in 1st half, but tht an own goal from Wes Brown of Man U. They r also comeback kings la. the memories of Istanbul juz wun shed off.

Against Middlesbrough at Anfield, they trail 1-0 down and won it 2-1 with 5 mins left.
Against Man U @ Anfield, they trail 1-0 as early as 3 mins but won 2-1 again with Ryan Babel winning goal.
Against Marseille @ Stade Veldorome, they trail 1-0 again at 25mins but turn the game within the next 6 mins with 2 Steven Gerrard goals, 1 cracker 25 yards goal and a penalty. Eventually they win 2-1.
Yesterday, 5/10/08, @ City of Manchester Stadium, Half Time. the scoreboard reads Man C 2-0 Liverpool. and many will deemed that Liverpool r gonna lose their first game of the season.
But wat a comeback it was, @ Full Time. Scoreboard bcome Man C 2-3 Liverpool. Absolutely wonderful.

17 mins gone and Riera receives the ball, he juggles the ball around and crosses. Kuyt shoots within 4 yards!! HE MISS. wat a gulit-edged chance.
1 min ltr, Wright Phillips takes the back from Aurelio, pass to Jo, great challeng from some Liverpool players, but the ball ends to Robinho, yet Arbeloa prevent him have a shot, he chip the ball up... ONLY TO IRELAND!! he shoots... 1-0 Man C.
nt much action after tht till 40 mins, a free kick outside the penalty box was given in favour of Man C.
Garrido steps up... GOAL!!! wat a free kick! 2-0 Man C and tht half time. wat a bad day for Liverpool.
2nd half starts with Liverpool attacking more.
54th min, Arbeloa dummys the pass to Gerrard, who immediately pass to Arbeloa.
Arbeloa then pass into the penalty box... Torres had a shot. GOAL!!! Scrappy goal. Liverpool pulled a goal back. 2-1. 1000th goal Liverpool have netted.
68th min: Zabaleta chases the ball and two foot lunged onto Xabi Alonso! 1 on his standing foot. Ref comes over... RED CARD!!! Zabaleta was sent off. wat a turnaround.
as soon as the match restarts, Skrtel and Jo try to head for the ball. omg, Skrtel do a kung-fu kick onto Jo. he falls down and appears injured. the ref was clearly on the view of tht incident. NO CARD GIVEN!!! how is tht possible? Jo was substituted after tht while Liverpool made tactical change. Keane for Mascherano, Dossena for Aurelio.
72nd min: Dossena receives the ball and trys to cross. deflected for a corner.
73rd min: from the corner from Gerrard, Torres loses the marker and goes in front of Man C GK, Joe Hart and heads the ball... GOAL!!! Torres single-handledly pulled Liverpool back from the game. 2-2. 5th goal for Torres this season. and all 5 goals r at away matches. wonderful.
87th min: Srktel trys to get the ball ahead of Chad Evans. somehow pass it back to Reina. but then, he fell awkardly and lookslike he injured his knee ligament. he is in agony and Liverpool r down to 10 man as they have used finish their subs le.
6 mins of injury time added.
and 2 mins of injury time, which happens to be the restart of the game after Srktel injury. Dossena pass to Benayoun and he goes into the penalty box. Torres tracks back and ask for the ball. Benayoun passes to him and Torres is clear. looking for hat-trick, he shoots, only to be deflected... BUT IT FALLS TO KUYT. HE SHOOTS. GOAL!!!!!! Kuyt ends his 27 games goasl-scoring drought with a crucial winning goal. the Kop fans r celebrating. wat a turnaround. 3-2 win for Liverpool. joint top leaders with Chelsea with 17 pts out of 21 so far. Next match: Wigan at home.
