Welcome to Fuji Speedway for Round 16 of the Formula One. We r of coz for the Japanese GP.

As the starting lineup shows, Hamilton and Raikkonen r at 1st and 2nd, Kovalainen and Alonso 3rd and 4th, Massa and Kubica 5th and 6th. so is very exciting to c who will in the end. as they finished their warm-up lap, the tension rises.

when the 5 red lights illuminated, the Japanese GP is go!!! Great start from Raikkonen, he now moves into 1st spot. Kovalainen also tries to take a place from Hamilton but Hamilton prevents it. and Hamilton tries to force Raikkonen wide of the track!! OH NO, Hamilton and Raikkonen both ran wide and Kubica and Alonso takes the advantage. Massa and Raikkonen made contact!! the 2 Ferrari r side by side. wat a big contact from Nakajima and Coulthard, Coulthard hits the wal while Nakajima loses his front wing! After lap 1, Kubica takes lead in front of Alonso, Kovalainen is in 3rd. wat a turnaround.

lap 2: Hamilton tries to make a move onto his championship rival Massa, and Massa runs a bit wide! Hamilton takes a spot but Massa tries to take it back. OMG! Massa made contact with Hamilton and he cannot turn the car back into the track as all the other cars goes forward. from 7th spot, Hamilton is now last! big blow to his championship title.

OH NO! Kovalainen had a mechanical failure and from the 3rd spot he now say gdbye to this race. Raikkonen moves up to 3rd. and at the same time, car 22, which is Hamilton, recieves a drive-through penalty!! Disaster for McLaren. wait a min... Massa also! both the championship contender r penalized!
We r at lap 18 of the Japanese GP and Alonso mades a pit stop. very smooth 1. and he comes out of Robert Kubica for track position. well done!

53 laps have gone for japanese GP and Raikkonen is on the tail of Kubica. Raikkonen tries to make a move. Kubica defended well. they still remain 2nd and 3rd. up at the front, 16 seconds ahead is Fernando Alonso of the Renault, who is looking solid for back-to-back wins for him and his team.

6 laps b4 the finish, Massa and Webber r closely neck. Webber's tyres is badly damaged. too much tyre wear. Massa is lapping faster than him 1.5s per lap. the gap now is 7.0s. can Massa takes a championship pt?
2 laps b4 this 67th laps of the Japanese GP. Massa nows is behind Webber. he mades an incredible move! he squeezes himself juz outside the pit lane and overtakes Webber. Excellent move from Massa!

as Fernando Alonso passes through the last corner for the last time in today race. he crosses the line to win the Japanese GP, his 21st win of his career ! Kubica ends 2nd while Raikkonen ends 3rd, nt enough for him to revive championship hopes as he is 21 pts behind Hamilton with 20pts left available.

as the drivers corcerned, Hamilton is still 84 pts, Massa is 6pts behind after tht single pt taken, 78 pts. Robert Kubica of BMW is the surprise package. who would have thought with 2 races left, he still has a shout for tht driver championship, with 72 pts. Raikkonen with 63pts.

on the constructors championship, Ferrari retakes the top spot with 141 pts, McLaren with 135pts, BMW 128pts, everything is still available with 2 races to go.

19th of Oct, we moved to Shanghai, China for the Chinese GP. who will win there?
