everybody is complaining. complain on bus petition. from quek, to jess, to her fren, to everyone. is a hot topic among us. but i keep it short.

this petition is abt JC fares r lesser than poly students. ok, let me make my stand. watever i write, if u wan to argue, i welcome it.

1. i agree. poly students paying more $$$ is definitely unfair. like wat quek and jess say, adults studying here is minority and there r ppl tht lives in 1 station away from their appointed polytechnics. like SP is in dover, some r at clementi and they pay 67 cents. i can buy a kopi-o for this amount of $$$. yes many can pay concession but how much it costs? $97 for both mrt and bus. so why shouldnt we get a fair share of amount as well. some r rich, they can afford, but many r nt tht rich. moreover, we r at recession time. parents r already so xin ku le. and for wat reason should we undeservedly to pay tht high amt of mrt or bus fare?

2. u might say this is due to government fault. no, is nt with them, is with the company. s'pore is always competitve, tht a fact. but tell me, y we always have a high standard of environment, is bcoz we strive to work hard. so tell me wat the diff of JC and poly students? should we say tht, coz JC students r smarter and they have greater chance of getting beta jobs? so tht y they let them having lesser fares? every new step is a new start. everyone is equal. we start it in new way. so back to qns again, should we put fares equal as well?

3. many stduents will soon choose poly than JC as they think is more relaxing. it is relaxing but when it comes to hw or projects or watever, poly students always work as hard as the JCs. so tell me? does this means more poly students had to pay the exact amt as wat we have now. NO!
